How do I know if this part fits my vehicle?
We develop plates and kits for EGR valves, not for vehicles. This is because the same engine or valve can be found on many different models. To check whether this product suits your vehicle, simply look at the photos or the list of compatible engines. We show photos of engine blocks or valves. If yours matches, this product fits. You can also email us a photo of your engine for a quick answer.
How do I position and install this product?
See the photos on the product page for a simple installation guide. An arrow or drawing guides you and serves as instructions. It's actually very simple. If you like, you'll also find a tube of engine silicone at the bottom of the page to help improve the sealing of the installation.
A warning light comes on, what should I do?
On recent engines (generally 2004 and later), a warning light may come on in the dashboard or the vehicle may switch to limp mode. In some cases, an electronic intervention may be needed to pair an electronic delete with this mechanical delete.
Why delete the EGR valve?
Again, the goal is power and engine efficiency gains. We develop and sell parts for motorsport and engine performance. The EGR valve recirculates part of the exhaust gas into the intake to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust, which contribute to air pollution, including ozone and fine particulate precursors. Beyond fouling the engine and creating clouds of black smoke, this technique leans out the air/fuel mixture. By adding exhaust gas to the fresh air, the vehicle feels sluggish. By blocking the EGR valve, you improve the quality of combustion. This increases engine efficiency and torque. Your vehicle will therefore be more powerful and produce more torque. Ideal for gaining a few hundredths off the start line in races.
