How do I position and install this product?

The product photos include a simple installation guide. An arrow or drawing shows you how to proceed and serves as the instructions. It is actually very simple. If you wish, you will also find an engine silicone tube at the bottom of the page to ensure a perfect seal on the installation.

A warning light comes on, what should I do?

On recent engines (generally 2004 and later), a warning light may come on in the dashboard or the vehicle may switch to limp mode. An electronic intervention may therefore sometimes be needed to pair an electronic delete with this mechanical delete. It is also possible to drill the plate to create a "flange". It will then let through a small amount of gas and prevent the ECU from detecting the modification.

Why delete the EGR valve?

Again, the aim is power gain and engine efficiency. We develop and sell parts for motorsport and engine performance. The EGR valve recycles part of the exhaust gases back into the intake to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust, which contribute to air pollution, ground-level ozone and fine particle precursors. Beyond clogging the engine and producing clouds of black smoke, this technique leans out the air/fuel mixture. Adding exhaust gas to the fresh air makes the vehicle sluggish. By blocking the EGR valve, you improve the combustion quality of the mixture. This increases engine efficiency and torque. Your vehicle will therefore be more powerful and have more torque. Ideal for gaining a few hundredths at the start of races.
