How do I know if this part fits my vehicle?

How do I install this product?

The product page photos include a simple installation explanation. An arrow or drawing guides you and serves as the instructions. In fact, it is very simple. If you wish, you will also find at the bottom of the page a tube of engine silicone to perfect the seal of the installation.

A warning light comes on, what should I do?

On recent engines (generally 2004 and later), a warning light may come on in the dashboard or the vehicle may switch to limp mode. An electronic intervention may therefore sometimes be required to pair an electronic delete with this mechanical delete. However, you can also drill the plate to create a "restrictor" orifice, or order it pre-drilled directly here when purchasing, using the drop-down menu. It will then allow a small amount of exhaust gas through and prevent the ECU from detecting the modification.

Why delete the EGR valve?

Always with the aim of gaining power and engine efficiency. We develop and sell parts for motorsport and engine performance. The EGR valve recycles part of the exhaust gas back into the intake in order to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust, which contribute notably to atmospheric ozone pollution and fine particle precursors. Beyond fouling the engine and generating clouds of black smoke, this process leans out the air/fuel mixture. By adding exhaust gas to the fresh air, the vehicle feels sluggish. By blocking the EGR valve, you improve the quality of the combustion mixture. You therefore increase engine efficiency and torque. Your vehicle will be more powerful and have more torque. Ideal for gaining a few hundredths at the start of races.
