How do I know if this part fits my vehicle?

We develop our plates and kits for EGR valves, not for vehicles. This is simply because the same engine or the same valve can be found on many different models. To check whether this product suits your vehicle, just look at the photos or the list of compatible engines. We show photos of engine blocks or valves. If yours matches, this product fits. You can also email us a photo of your engine for a quick answer.

How do I position/install this product?

The product photos show a simple installation guide. An arrow or drawing guides you and serves as your instructions. It's actually very simple. If you wish, you'll also find an engine silicone tube at the bottom of the page to perfect the seal of the installation.

A warning light comes on, what should I do?

On recent engines (generally 2004 and later), a warning light may come on in the dashboard or the vehicle may go into limp mode. So an electronic intervention may sometimes be needed to pair an ECU delete with this mechanical delete. But it is also possible to drill the plate to make a "restrictor" orifice. It will then let through a small amount of gas and prevent the ECU from detecting the modification.

Why delete the EGR valve?

Again, for power gains and engine efficiency. We develop and sell parts for motorsport and engine performance. The EGR valve recycles part of the exhaust gases into the intake to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust, which contribute to air pollution such as ozone and fine particle precursors. Beyond fouling the engine and creating clouds of black smoke, this technique leans out the air/fuel mixture. By adding exhaust gas to the fresh air, the vehicle feels sluggish. By blocking off the EGR valve, you improve the combustion quality of the mixture. This increases engine efficiency and torque. Your vehicle will be more powerful and have more torque. Ideal for gaining a few hundredths at the start of races.
