How do I position/install this product?

A warning light comes on, what should I do?

On recent engines (generally 2004 and later), a warning light may come on in the dashboard or the vehicle may switch to limp mode. In some cases, an electronic intervention may therefore be needed to pair an electronic delete with this mechanical delete.

Why delete the EGR valve?

Always for the sake of power gains and engine efficiency. We develop and sell parts for motorsport and engine performance. The EGR valve recirculates part of the exhaust gases into the intake in order to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust, which contribute to atmospheric pollution, including ozone and fine particle precursors. Beyond clogging the engine and producing clouds of black smoke, this technique leans out the air/fuel mixture. By adding exhaust gas to the fresh air, the vehicle feels sluggish. By blocking the EGR valve, you improve the quality of the combustion mixture. This increases engine efficiency and torque, so your vehicle will be more powerful with more torque. Ideal for gaining a few hundredths at the start of races.
