The seat shape, i.e. the seat of the bolt or nut, is very important.
There are 2 main categories of seat shape:
Conical seat (cone-shaped)
Ball seat (spherical, like a half ball).
Most aftermarket wheels, i.e. NOT original equipment, must be installed with conical seat bolts or nuts.
The length under head is determined by the thickness of the installed spacer. For example, if the original length under head is 37 mm and you install a 20 mm thick spacer, you can use a length under head of 57 mm. More information available from customer service.
