Precisely define the length under head, the bolt shape, and the thread.
The seat shape, i.e. the shape of the bolt or nut seat, is very important.
There are 2 main categories of seat shape:
Conical (a cone shape)
Spherical (like a half ball).
Most aftermarket wheels, i.e. NOT original equipment, must be fitted with conical seat bolts or nuts.
The length under head is determined by the thickness of the wheel spacer fitted. For example, if you have an original length under head of 37mm and you fit a 20mm thick spacer, you can use a length under head of 57mm. More information available from customer service.
