The shape of the seat (the bolt's contact surface) is very important.
There are 2 main categories of seat shape:
Conical (cone-shaped)
Ball (like a half sphere).
Most aftermarket wheels, i.e. NOT original equipment, must be installed with conical seat bolts or nuts.
The length under head depends on the thickness of the spacer installed. For example, if the original length under head is 37 mm and you install a 20 mm thick spacer, you can use a length under head of 57 mm. For more information, contact customer service.
