EGR Valve Blanking Plug 1.5Dci K9K608

EGR valve delete plug for Renault 1.5dci K9K 3rd generation (K9K 608).

Valves differ depending on the year. The part that accepts the valve must bear number 8200129863 (see markings on the metal). Installation must follow the diagram shown in the slideshow.

How do I position/install this product?

The product photos show a simple installation guide. An arrow or drawing guides you and serves as your instructions. It is actually very simple. If you wish, you will also find an engine silicone tube at the bottom of the page to perfect the seal of the installation.

A warning light comes on, what should I do?

On recent engines (generally 2004 and newer), a warning light may come on in the dashboard or the vehicle may go into limp mode. In some cases, an electronic intervention may therefore be required to pair an electronic delete with this mechanical delete.

Why delete the EGR valve?

Always aimed at gaining power and engine efficiency. We develop and sell parts for motorsport and engine performance. The EGR valve recycles part of the exhaust gases back into the intake in order to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust, which is notably behind atmospheric ozone pollution and fine particle precursors. Beyond fouling the engine and producing clouds of black smoke, this technique leans out the air/fuel mixture. By adding exhaust gas to fresh air, the vehicle feels sluggish. By blocking the EGR valve, you improve the quality of the combustion mixture. You therefore increase engine efficiency and torque. Your vehicle will be more powerful and have more torque. Ideal for gaining a few hundredths at the start of races.
