How do I know if this part fits my vehicle?

We develop plates and kits for EGR valves, not for vehicles, simply because the same engine or valve can be found on many different models. How do I install this product?

The product page photos include a simple fitting guide. An arrow or drawing shows you how to fit it. It's really very simple. If you like, you'll also find an engine silicone tube at the bottom of the page to perfect the seal of the fitting.

A warning light comes on, what should I do?

On recent engines (generally 2004 and later), a warning light may come on in the dashboard or the vehicle may go into limp mode. An electronic intervention may therefore sometimes be needed to pair an electronic delete with this mechanical delete. It is also possible to drill the plate to create a "restrictor" orifice. It will then let a little gas through and prevent the ECU from detecting the intervention.

Why delete the EGR valve?

Again, in the pursuit of power gains and engine efficiency. We develop and sell parts for motorsport and engine performance. The EGR valve recirculates part of the exhaust gas into the intake to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust, which contribute notably to atmospheric pollution such as ground-level ozone and fine particulate precursors. Beyond fouling the engine and creating clouds of black smoke, this technique leans out the air/fuel mixture. By adding exhaust gas to the fresh air, the vehicle feels sluggish. By blocking off the EGR valve, you improve the quality of the combustion mixture. You therefore increase engine efficiency and torque. Your vehicle will be more powerful and have more torque. Ideal for gaining a few hundredths at the start of races.
