High-strength, low-viscosity red methacrylate threadlocker, fluorescent under UV light for easy inspection.
LOCTITE® 271 is a red methacrylate threadlocker with low viscosity and high strength. Set time on steel: 10 min, on brass: 5 min, on stainless steel: 15 min. Ideal for applications where product migration must be avoided. Tolerates slight oil contamination. Can be used on all metals. Breakaway torque of 26 Nm for thread diameters up to M10. Fluorescent under UV light.
