Specify precisely the under-head length of the bolts, the bolt shape, and the thread.
The shape of the seat (the bolt or stud seating surface) is very important.
There are 2 main categories of seat shape:
Conical (cone-shaped)
Spherical (like a half ball).
Most aftermarket wheels, i.e. NOT original equipment, must be fitted with conical-seat bolts or nuts.
The under-head length is determined by the thickness of the spacer fitted. For example, if you have an original under-head length of 37mm and you fit a 20mm thick spacer, you can use an under-head length of 57mm. More information available from customer service.
