Specify precisely the length under head of the studs, the stud shape and the thread.
The seat shape, i.e. the seat of the stud or bolt, is very important.
There are 2 main seat shape categories:
Conical (cone shape)
Spherical (like a half ball).
Most aftermarket wheels, i.e. NON-original, must be fitted with conical seat studs or nuts.
The length under head is determined by the thickness of the spacer fitted. For example, if the original length under head is 37mm and you fit a 20mm thick spacer, you can use a length under head of 57mm. More information available from customer service.
