Precisely define the length under head of the studs, the bolt shape, and the thread.
The seat shape of the stud or bolt is very important.
There are 2 main categories of seat shape:
Conical (cone-shaped)
Ball seat (like a half ball).
Most aftermarket wheels, i.e. NOT original equipment, must be installed with conical seat studs or nuts.
The length under head is determined by the thickness of the wheel spacer fitted. For example, if the original length under head is 37mm and you fit a 20mm thick spacer, you can use a length under head of 57mm. More information available from customer service.
