The seat shape, i.e. the seat of the bolt or nut, is very important.
There are 2 main categories of seat shape:
Conical (a cone shape)
Spherical (like a half ball).
Most aftermarket wheels, i.e. NOT OEM, must be fitted with conical seat bolts or nuts.
Length under head is determined by the thickness of the wheel spacer fitted. For example, if you have an original length under head of 37mm and fit a 20mm spacer, you can use a length under head of 57mm. For more information, contact customer service.
