The seat shape, or seat of the bolt or stud, is very important.
There are 2 main categories of seat shape:
Conical (cone-shaped)
Spherical (like a half ball).
Most aftermarket wheels, i.e. NOT original equipment, must be installed with conical seat bolts or nuts.
The length under head is determined by the thickness of the wheel spacer installed. For example, if your original length under head is 37mm and you install a 20mm thick spacer, you can use a length under head of 57mm. For more information, contact customer service.
