The shape of the seat (the bolt or stud seating surface) is very important.
There are 2 main categories of seat shape:
Conical (cone-shaped)
Spherical (like a half ball).
Most aftermarket wheels, i.e. NOT original equipment, must be installed with conical seat bolts or nuts.
The length under head is determined by the thickness of the wheel spacer installed. For example, if the original length under head is 37 mm and you fit a 20 mm thick spacer, you can use a length under head of 57 mm. For more information, contact customer service.
