How do I position/install this product?

The product photos show a simple installation guide. An arrow or drawing guides you and serves as instructions. It's actually very simple. If you wish, you can also find an engine silicone tube at the bottom of the page to perfect sealing of the installation.

A warning light comes on, what should I do?

On newer engines (generally 2004 and later), a warning light may come on in the dashboard or the vehicle may go into limp mode. In some cases, an electronic intervention may be needed to pair an electronic delete with this mechanical delete. Alternatively, you can drill the plate to create a "restrictor" orifice. It will let a small amount of gas through and prevent the ECU from detecting the modification.

Why delete the EGR valve?

Always for the sake of power and engine efficiency gains. We develop and sell parts for motorsport and engine performance. The EGR valve recirculates part of the exhaust gases into the intake to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust, which are a major source of ozone air pollution and fine particulate precursors. Beyond fouling the engine and producing clouds of black smoke, this technique leans out the air/fuel mixture. By adding exhaust gas to fresh air, the vehicle becomes sluggish. By blocking the EGR valve, you improve the quality of the combustion mixture. This increases engine efficiency and torque. Your vehicle will therefore be more powerful and have more torque. Ideal for gaining a few hundredths at race starts.
