EGR valve delete plug for Renault 1.5dci K9K 2nd generation (K9K 6770).

EGR valves vary by year. The part that mates with the valve must bear part number 82 00 836 385 or 82 00 846 454 (see markings on the metal). Installation must follow the diagram shown in the slideshow.

How do I position/install this product?

Refer to the product photos for a simple installation guide. An arrow or diagram guides you and serves as instructions. It's actually very simple. If you wish, further down the page you will find a tube of engine silicone to perfect the seal of the installation.

What if a warning light comes on?

On recent engines (generally 2004 and later), a warning light may come on in the dashboard or the vehicle may switch to limp mode. An electronic intervention may therefore sometimes be needed to pair an electronic delete with this mechanical delete.

Why delete the EGR valve?

Always for the sake of power gains and engine efficiency. We develop and sell parts for motorsport and engine performance. The EGR valve recirculates a portion of the exhaust gases into the intake in order to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust, which contribute to atmospheric ozone pollution and are precursors of fine particles. Beyond clogging the engine and generating clouds of black smoke, this technique leans out the air/fuel mixture. By adding exhaust gas to the fresh air, the vehicle feels sluggish. By blocking the EGR valve, you improve the quality of combustion. You therefore increase engine efficiency and torque. Your vehicle will be more powerful and torquey. Ideal for gaining a few hundredths at the start of races.
