Switching to electronic invoicing: JDM Distribution supports you

At JDM Distribution, our mission has always been to make your day-to-day work as a professional easier. With modernization and compliance in mind, we are taking a new step: starting in September, all of our invoicing will become electronic.

This change is not only a response to regulatory developments, it is also a way to improve the efficiency of your accounting. As a JDM Distribution customer, here is everything you need to know about this transition.

What is electronic invoicing?

Contrary to popular belief, an electronic invoice is not just a PDF sent by email. It is an invoice issued, transmitted and received in digital form that contains structured data.

In practice, these documents are routed through secure platforms that guarantee the authenticity of the sender and the integrity of the content.

Why this change starting in September?

The French government has set up a phased schedule for mandatory electronic invoicing between businesses (B2B). By anticipating this transition from September, JDM Distribution allows you to:

  • Secure your exchanges: No more lost mail or invoices ending up in spam.
  • Gain productivity: Data is integrated faster into your accounting software.
  • Reduce your carbon footprint: Less paper, less printing and less transport.
  • Optimize your payment terms: Smoother processing means better monitoring of your cash flow.

What it means for you as a PRO customer

For you, the switch to electronic invoicing involves a few simple but essential adjustments:

Key point: Make sure the information in your customer profile (SIRET number, billing address and accounting contact email) is fully up to date in your JDM Distribution customer account.

1. Receiving your invoices

Your invoices will no longer be sent on paper. They will be available directly on your usual portal, through your partner e-invoicing platform (PDP) or through the Public Invoicing Portal (PPF).

2. Tax compliance

Every document issued will comply with the new standards in force, including all mandatory information required by the tax authorities, ensuring full compliance for your VAT returns.

3. Simplified archiving

No more bulky binders. Your electronic invoices have evidential value and are archived digitally, making any future search or audit easier.

How can we prepare together?

Between now and September, our teams remain fully available to answer your technical questions. We recommend that you contact your accountant or IT manager to check the compatibility of your receiving tools.

We are proud to build the digital future of JDM Distribution with you.
