In online auto parts retail, customers compare, hesitate, then order where they know when their part will arrive. A vague delivery date means an abandoned cart. A generic "ships in 3 to 10 days" means a support call and one less sale. JDM Distribution is now opening its product data API to professionals: you connect your store directly to our supply chain (warehouse, partner factories and carriers) and show your customers an actual delivery date, part number by part number. It's the tool we use ourselves on our own sites.

The real barrier to purchase: delivery uncertainty

Performance tuning and motorsport parts are not consumer goods. Lead times vary enormously from one part number to the next: immediate warehouse stock for one, a factory order from abroad for another, a restock in progress for a third. Faced with this reality, most stores display a cautious, wide range, one that protects the seller but drives away trade buyers and enthusiasts alike.

The result is always the same: carts abandoned at the last screen, "when will it be available?" emails, and customers leaving for the competitor that can state a clear date. A delivery promise that is precise and kept means fewer abandoned carts, less support and more trust with every order.

A delivery date that is calculated, not estimated

The difference lies in the word "calculated." Our engine doesn't return an average: it continuously cross-references warehouse stock, restocks in progress, each factory's own lead times, order days by brand, supplier holidays and carrier lead times to produce an actual delivery date, part number by part number.

In practice, your product page no longer shows "within 3 to 10 days" but a specific date. Each response also includes the day's order cutoff time: customers know that if they place their order before 3 p.m., it ships today, and the date is automatically recalculated once the cutoff has passed. That level of precision is what turns hesitation into an order.

Stock and trade pricing in the same response

A single call returns all the data you need to sell. Availability per part number is aggregated across the JDM warehouse and the network of partner factories. You get the list price excl. VAT and, for your professional customers linked to an account, their custom discount and net price directly in the response. No more maintaining a separate price list: your store displays the right price, for the right customer, in real time.

The API currently covers more than 130,000 tracked part numbers and more than 40 connected brands and factories, from turbos to exhausts, including suspension & steering and brakes.

Real time: data less than 3 minutes old

Supplier stock and logistics data are continuously resynchronized. The oldest data served by the API is less than three minutes old, and each response states its exact age. You never display an outdated "in stock" status that would later force you to cancel an order.

In practice: one request, everything included

Integration is based on a REST JSON endpoint. You query a part number and receive everything your product page, cart and confirmation emails need:

A response in milliseconds containing the delivery date, stock level and source, price excl. VAT, applicable trade discount, data age and order cutoff time. Everything in a single call, authenticated with your private key.

The shipping method of your choice

Standard shipping, express or your own carrier lead times: the API recalculates the date for the selected method, including Saturday and Sunday when the carrier delivers on weekends. For professionals who use drop shipping, it guarantees that the date shown to their own customers matches the carrier actually used.
